3-day teacher training facilitated by Nicki Ratcliffe and Emily Mergaert

Course Content

Are you looking to advance your asana practice as a teacher or student in the world of  inversions? Do you wonder how on earth the person beside you is in that pose, balancing on one finger, yet still somehow managing to look graceful?

Get ready for a trip into the upside down world with Emily and Nicki in this empowering and energising 3-day teacher training. In this training, you will develop the confidence to spend more time on your hands than your feet. Teaching Team

Nicki Ratcliffe
Upside down is how Nicki has spent a lot of her life, first as a child gymnast, later as a gymnastics coach, and now as a yogini. Handstand is her happy place, and her goal is to make it yours, too. Nicki has trained with Ambra Vallo, Mark Kan and David Kyle, and now specialises in teaching inversions generally, and handstands in particular. She knows how to make the impossible possible, and – just as importantly – how to have fun in the process.

Emily Mergaert
Emily found a love for yoga while living and working in London as a makeup artist. After falling in love with the rocket practice, she trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Rocket and has now carried on training in Mandala Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Taking influences from different lineages, her style is creative & energising while maintaining a strong focus on energy centres in the body and the moving meditation that is the breath.

Nicki and Emily’s goal-oriented drills will help you to develop the double whammy of strength and flexibility that will get you holding yourself on your hands effortlessly. Their teaching is all about the detail – developing the specific techniques required to master inversions. But it is also about the big picture – building your confidence, and enjoying a topsy-turvy world.
