Grounded in Levity: A Weekend of Workshops
with Bradshaw Wish

26th – 28th November, 2027
Workshops from £35 | Full weekend £220 (save £35)

Rooted in tradition and infused with humour, Grounded in Levity brings together thoughtful Vinyasa, yoga philosophy, and restorative practice. Across five workshops, we’ll explore how strength, play, and rest can support one another, creating a practice that sustains us.

From examining burnout through the yamas and niyamas to exploring handstands and backbends, this weekend offers space to work with intention, approach challenges with curiosity, and discover the depth of doing less. Bradshaw combines classical Vinyasa with accessible anatomy, practical philosophy, and a teaching style that makes room for both focused learning and laughter.

Beyond Burnout

Yamas, Niyamas & Slow Vinyasa

Friday 26th November: 6.00-8.30pm
£55 or £220 for full weekend

Explore how yoga’s yamas and niyamas can help us understand our relationship with effort, expectations, and rest. Through discussion and reflection, we’ll consider how these teachings relate to burnout and offer practical ways to navigate the demands of modern life.

Bradshaw brings these philosophical ideas into everyday experience through relatable examples, open conversation, and humour. We’ll consider how principles such as non-harming, contentment, and self-study can inform the expectations we place on ourselves, both on and off the mat.

A very slow Vinyasa practice follows, creating space to breathe, move thoughtfully, and settle into the weekend. The movement practice will offer time to notice familiar habits around effort and explore what it feels like to respond with greater care.

Flow Out Loud Masterclass

Saturday 27th November: 12.30-2.00pm
£35 or £220 for full weekend

Bradshaw’s signature Vinyasa class blends thoughtful sequencing, strength, and humour in an energetic, full-body practice. Rooted in familiar postures, we’ll explore how simplicity creates space for attention, curiosity, and play.

Bradshaw’s teaching pairs clear anatomical guidance with purposeful repetition, giving you time to understand what you’re doing and build on it. Familiar shapes become opportunities to explore the relationship between stability, mobility, and breath. Philosophy is woven throughout the practice, inviting you to notice how you meet effort and bring a sense of lightness to challenging moments.

Expect to move, breathe, laugh, and find depth in the foundations.

Spring Into Handstand

Saturday 27th November: 2.30-5.00pm
£55 or £220 for full weekend

Explore handstand with curiosity, clear technique, and a sense of play. Through an energising flow and progressive drills, we’ll build strength, explore alignment, and develop the skills that support going upside down. We’ll also explore how to incorporate handstands into sun salutations and work toward more challenging transitions.

Bradshaw breaks these movements into approachable components, helping you understand how your hands, shoulders, and trunk work together to support balance. We’ll take time to repeat, ask questions, and explore each step without the expectation of achieving a perfect handstand. Humour and clear guidance encourage you to stay curious about the process and recognise what you’re learning along the way.

This all-levels workshop offers options throughout, whether you’re building your foundations or exploring new transitions. You don’t need to be able to hold a handstand to participate.

Backbend Foundations

Sunday 28th November: 12.30-3.00pm
£55 or £220 for full weekend

Explore backbends through a thoughtful balance of strength and mobility, with particular attention to strengthening the backside of the body. With so much of daily life spent sitting and reaching forward, we’ll give the back muscles, glutes, and hamstrings some purposeful attention. Through progressive sequencing and targeted drills, we’ll develop that support alongside mobility in the hips, shoulders, and spine.

Bradshaw uses accessible anatomy and clear instruction to break backbends into manageable steps, giving you time to explore how each part contributes to the whole. The emphasis is on learning gradually, noticing sensations, and discovering possibilities in your own body, with no expectation of a perfect shape. We’ll also explore how to incorporate backbends into your sequencing, including preparation and thoughtful progression toward more demanding postures.

Whether you’re developing your practice or teaching others, you’ll leave with practical ideas to continue exploring. This all-levels workshop offers options throughout, with room to ask questions, repeat movements, and move at your own pace.

From Exhaustion to True Rest

The Importance of Restorative Yoga

Sunday 28th November: 3.30-6.00pm
£55 or £220 for full weekend

What does it mean to truly rest? We’ll explore the role of restorative yoga in a demanding world and how to recognise when pushing through gives way to running on empty.

Through discussion and a spacious practice of supported postures, we’ll explore rest as a skill we can cultivate. Bradshaw offers clear guidance on using props and adjusting each posture so you can find a comfortable position with less muscular effort. There will be time to settle, notice your responses to stillness, and make changes when needed.

Returning to the weekend’s philosophical themes, we’ll reflect on how non-harming and contentment can support a more compassionate relationship with rest. We’ll close the weekend by giving ourselves permission to receive support, soften our effort, and make room for rest in everyday life.
