A short walk from Spitalfields Market, Café Mission’s rooftop restaurant, bar and terrace offer a vibrant, versatile setting for your next event. Light and airy, with a warehouse feel, the space welcomes groups and parties of every size.

Rooted in Japanese sensibilities – balance, seasonality and quiet refinement – our menus pair local ingredients with international influences. Guests can choose from plated set menus, canapés and bowl food, or combine all three.

Up to 20 guests can be seated together at one long table, while semi-private dining in a designated area of the restaurant accommodates up to 40. For exclusive use, the restaurant, lounge bar and roof terrace can be taken together for up to 60 seated and 170 standing, or each space can be hired separately.

Exclusive Hire

From weddings and birthdays to product launches and corporate gatherings, our team will work with you to ensure every detail is handled meticulously.

For seated events, we have a great selection of set menus, and whilst the examples shown are themed, they are by no means fixed. Our wine list is curated by Keeling Andrew & Co, the team behind Noble Rot, and the full food and drink experience can be tailored to your requirements and budget. Cocktails, canapés and bowl food are also available, as is a more relaxed buffet-style set-up if that better suits your event.

We have a trusted list of preferred suppliers, so do ask for recommendations on DJs, live bands and other entertainment. We also hold our own AV equipment, including screens, mixing desks and speakers.

Group Bookings & Semi Private Dining

Seat up to 20 guests at our long table, or up to 40 in a designated semi-private area of the restaurant. These options are ideal for celebrations, team dinners and client entertaining. They offer a little more exclusivity while keeping you part of the restaurant’s atmosphere.

Our menus offer a refined, produce-driven take on breakfast, brunch and lunch, with seasonal ingredients and clean, umami-forward flavours at their heart.

Terrace

Set atop the historic Fashion Street warehouse, Café Mission’s rooftop terrace is a hidden oasis above the bustling streets of Shoreditch. It blends the restaurant’s cool, industrial character with a relaxed, bohemian feel. Parasols provide shade on summer days and heaters keep things cosy through winter, making it a year-round hideaway with views across the London skyline.

The terrace is available for group bookings, for exclusive hire in its own right, or as part of a full-venue hire alongside the restaurant and lounge bar.

Weddings

Perched above the heart of Shoreditch, Café Mission offers couples a truly distinctive wedding setting. With exclusive hire for up to 170 standing guests or 60 seated, the space flows seamlessly between indoor warmth and open-air celebration, with sweeping views across the City skyline setting the scene for an unforgettable day.

DJ points throughout keep the music going, while elegant canapés, set menus and cocktails, crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients, ensure every guest is well looked after. And with a wine list handpicked by the founders of Noble Rot, even the most discerning palates are catered for.

For ceremonies, Shoreditch Town Hall is just 0.8 miles away, and Hackney Town Hall 2.5 miles.
