At Mission, strength training isn’t a trend or a programme. It’s a foundational part of what we teach, for women and men at every stage of life.
For women in particular, as the body moves through perimenopause and menopause, strength training becomes even more important. During this time, hormonal shifts can accelerate the loss of muscle mass and bone density. Resistance training directly counteracts this, helping maintain structural integrity, metabolic health, and long-term independence.
