Class Description

Bambu Bodies

Bambu Bodies is a mixed movement class inspired by the Capoeira practice.

In this class, Baris will empower you with the necessary attributes and confidence to move freely and with ease, preparing you for any other physical activity. You’ll explore popular skills like handstands, headstands, elbow levers, bridges, “floreios (soft acrobatic skills like cartwheel), walkovers, “macacos” and more.

The class has a set sequence and structure that starts with movement exercises (squats, press-ups, sit-ups) before exploring floorwork where you work on proprioception and body awareness, before finishing with mobility exercises to develop strength and flexibility.

This class is taught with music.

No prior experience necessary. This class is for open-minded practitioners who want to develop their skills and transform the ordinary into the extraordinary in sustainable ways.
