Mission:
Yoga, Calisthenics, Sunshine, Mountains, Lakes

Mission is the only movement centre in London with its own dedicated retreat space, nestled in a majestic mountain overlooking the stunning Lake Lugano on the Italian and Swiss border. The secluded and striking property sits on five woodland acres and boasts dramatic views over Lake Lugano, a swimming pool, sauna, lush gardens, and scads of space to relax and soak in the sun, or nap in shady patios. The 10-bedroom main villa and 2-bedroom second house are all double occupancy (with one triple,) decorated in classic Italian style with marbled walls, long communal tables, and quiet balconies.

Come spend a lazy week in the sunshine, practising yoga or calisthenics with your favourite Mission teacher on purpose built platforms overlooking the lake. Explore the mountains and waterfalls on energetic hikes, swim in the clear, cool waters, and nosh on authentic Italian food with friends both old and new. Sunbathe with the group, or find a secluded balcony to read a book by yourself.

Marcus Veda: A Week of 4-Beat
July 7th - 13th

Marcus is the creator of 4-Beat, a practice inspired by Rocket Yoga, good music and even more fun. A 21st century practice that is at once challenging and accessible. Marcus will teach an invigorating two-hour morning practice, syncing the breath to the beat with kriyas, sun salutations, inversions, funky pinchas, ninja rolls, pistol squats and pranayama. In the late afternoons,  dial it down a notch after a day in the sun as Marcus guides you into a blissed-out state with a slow, quiet Yin practice.

This is a rare opportunity to spend a week immersed in a practice quietly taking London by storm, one breath at at time.

Corrie Ananda: Delve into Ashtanga
August 11th - 17th

Join one of London’s most experienced Mysore teachers, Corrie Ananda, for a transformative week of guided Ashtanga self-practice. Corrie is Authorised Level 2, and is one of few in the UK who practises and teaches the primary, second and third series of the Ashtanga Yoga system.

This retreat is an ideal setting to deepen and inspire your personal practice in the Ashtanga Yoga context.

In the mornings, you’ll dive deep with pranayama, asana and sitting meditation. Afternoons are for fun! You will have time to bask in the magnificence of the natural environment — trail hiking in the mountains, bathing in the waterfall, swimming in the lake or simply chilling by the pool.

There will be some afternoon workshops centred around therapeutic movement: slow stretches and deep core work. Time will be spent mobilising, stabilising, strengthening — all aimed at supporting and enhancing your morning practice.
